Sharmila founded and is the Chief Executive Officer of Katalyst. With her background in venture capital and practice management she is uniquely positioned to structure mutually beneficial transactions while providing strategic assistance to portfolio clients.

Prior to founding Katalyst FP, LLC, Sharmila was co-founder and principal of a merchant cash advance company in New York and she served as the Chief Operating Officer. While there, Sharmila established a strong, well diversified portfolio which included several medical practices.
Prior to that Sharmila served as the Director of Acquisitions and Investments for Newtek Business Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: NEWT). During her eight year tenure with Newtek, Sharmila managed the resources and activity of over $150 million of investment capital deployed through the company’s 15 venture capital funds located around the country.
Mrs. Amico graduated Cum Laude with Bachelors in Finance, and has also received her MBA in Finance and Organizational Management, with honors, from Hofstra University in New York.

In this position he is responsible for maintaining all relationships with new potential clients and agents and expanding KatalystFP’s alliance network.
Scott worked for many years in the import/export industry, and served as a partner and manager at a Customs Brokerage company. Mr. Perroncino also has a successful entrepreneurial background, having launched and run a trucking and capital lending company which provided the tri-state area delivery services and funding advancements for freight shipments. From 2003 until 2007 Scott also served as the Chief Financial Officer of a multi-national freight logistics company.
Scott received his Bachelors degree in History from Arizona State University.

Prior to joining Katalyst, Mrs. Brown was the Director of Operations for a Financial Services firm and was responsible for managing the daily operation of the company. Prior to joining Katalyst, Mrs. Brown was the Accounting Manager for Bereskin & Parr, an Intellectual Property Law Firm.
Mrs. Brown received her Bachelor’s with an HB Commerce from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada.

Alex Camacho serves as the Head of Underwriting for KatalystFP. In this position Alex is responsible for managing all underwriting tasks including: analysing financial statements and other documents, assessing the risk in each business, calculating how much funding each client qualifies for.
Prior to Alex’s starting at Katalyst he held a five year position of Risk Analyst for another company in the finance industry where he was responsible for analyzing areas of potential risk in deals and forecasting and predicting change and future trends. Before holding that position Mr.Camacho worked as an underwriter for an insurance company for three years.
Alex Camacho received his Bachelors degree in Business Management from Stony Brook University in New York and also received his MBA in Finance from Molloy College, also in New York.

Neil Brown is currently KatalystFP’s Chief Financial and Chief Information Officer and is the chair of the company’s underwriting committee. Neil’s past involves a broad spectrum of accounting and technical positions the benefit KatalystFP and it’s clients. Neil has been the CFO for a Financial Services Firm, Controller for a NASDAQ technology holding firm and a controller for an International Retailer.
